The Role
We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to support client-facing financial planning and analysis work across our growing portfolio. You will help build budgets and forecasts, prepare management reporting packs, analyse variances, and turn financial data into clear, actionable insight for clients. This role is ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation who is eager to develop their commercial finance skills in a fast-paced advisory environment.
What You Will Do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including P&L, cash flow, and variance commentary
- Build and maintain rolling forecasts and budgets in collaboration with the senior team
- Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting packs tailored to client needs
- Conduct variance analysis (actuals vs. budget vs. forecast) and communicate key drivers clearly
- Support scenario modelling to help clients evaluate strategic and operational decisions
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations and investor reporting materials
- Work directly with clients to gather data inputs and understand business context
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and model efficiency
What We Are Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in FP&A, management accounting, audit, or a related finance role
- Strong accounting knowledge — understanding of financial statements and how business decisions flow through them
- Comfortable working with data in Excel; able to build clean, structured spreadsheets from scratch
- Strong written and spoken English — able to produce concise commentary and communicate clearly with clients
- A proactive, positive attitude — someone who takes ownership and follows through
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop — we invest in people who invest in themselves
- Organised and reliable — able to manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for management reporting
- Experience preparing or reviewing budget packs and board reports
- Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CMA, or equivalent)
- Exposure to startup or SME finance environments
