The Role
We are looking for a Financial Modeler to join our growing FP&A and Analytics practice. You will build, maintain, and stress-test financial models for a range of client engagements: from three-statement models and LBO structures to scenario analyses and valuation workbooks. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited to someone with a strong accounting foundation and a genuine appetite for learning.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain three-statement financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for client engagements
- Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and investment decisions
- Prepare business valuation models using DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions
- Support the delivery of board-ready financial reports and investor-facing materials
- Reconcile model outputs against actuals and flag variances with clear commentary
- Work closely with senior team members to understand client context and refine model assumptions
- Maintain model documentation and version control to ensure accuracy and reproducibility
What We Are Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of experience in financial modeling, accounting, audit, or a related finance role
- Strong accounting knowledge: understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling best practices
- Clear written and spoken English, able to communicate model logic and findings without jargon
- A collaborative, curious mindset, someone who asks the right questions and takes feedback well
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to different client industries and problem types
- Attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work before submitting
Nice to Have
- Exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Sheets for financial reporting
- Experience with valuation or transaction support work
- Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CMA, or equivalent)
